Terms & Conditions

1. Event Organizer & Partners
The NMPA 10K Run 2025 is an official initiative of the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA), and is organized and managed by Sports Reconnect & Zemo.

2. Registration & Eligibility

  • All participants must register by 25th August 2025 via the official registration platform.

  • Participants must provide accurate information during registration.

  • Timed run participants must be medically fit and meet the respective age criteria.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Registration fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be deferred.

  • In case of event cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government regulations), the organizers reserve the right to reschedule the event.

4. Participation Rules

  • Participants must wear their official bibs and with timing chips (for timed races).

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct, cheating, or tampering with chips will result in disqualification.

  • Medical and hydration facilities will be provided, but participants run at their own risk.

5. Liability Waiver
By registering, participants agree that NMPA, Sports Reconnect, Zemo, sponsors, and partners are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages sustained during the event.

6. Photography & Media
Participants consent to the use of photos, videos, and recordings from the event for promotional and marketing purposes by the organizers and NMPA.

Other Guidelines & Rules

  • Timing & Age Group

    • Race timings will be recorded electronically via timing chips.

    • Each participant may compete in only one eligible age group.

  • Registrations & BIB Collection

    • Registrations will close two weeks before the event, upon reaching maximum capacity, or at the discretion of the organizers.

    • BIBs and run kits will be distributed on-ground one week prior to the event, with announcements shared via WhatsApp or official communication channels.

    • Mandatory documents for BIB collection:

      • Application acknowledgment (soft/hard copy)

      • Valid age proof with photocopy

      • Authority letter (if collecting for another participant)

    • Important: No BIBs or kits will be issued on race day or sent by post.

    • BIBs are non-transferable, and requests for cancellations or refunds will not be entertained.

  • Race Day Rules

    • The organizers reserve the right to modify the date, venue, distance, start time, or other event details at any time.

    • Runners exceeding the cut-off time of 2 hours (10K) will not be allowed to continue on the course, for safety reasons.

    • The decision of the race organizers will be final and binding in all matters.

  • Results & Prizes

    • Race day results will be provisional; final results and prize entitlements will be subject to event rules.

    • Finish positions for all categories will be determined strictly by GUN time.

    • Timing chips must register at all points, including start and finish. Missing data will result in no official timing or certificate.

    • Anti-cheat measures, including technical officials and cameras, will be in place.

    • Bib interchanges will result in disqualification and forfeiture of prizes.

    • Prize winners may be required to submit additional proof of identity/age before prize disbursement.

    • Prizes will be distributed within 21 days post-event, with winners contacted directly.

    • Official timing e-certificates will be available online; no physical certificates will be issued.

  • Protests & Appeals

    • Appeals must be lodged within 5 days post-race.

    • All appeals will be resolved within 14 days.

For all matters not explicitly stated, the decision of the organizers shall remain final and binding.
